Product Description
The EFC5610-0K40-3P4-MDB-7P-NNNNN-NNNN is a sensorless vector control (SVC) frequency converter in the EFC 5610 series by Bosch Rexroth. It is one of the low-cost, high-efficiency frequency converters manufactured to meet the growing demand for eco-friendly and energy-conserving equipment in the drive technology industry. The 1.5kg device is optimised for heavy-duty operations with a rated continuous output current of 1.3 A and 1.1 A at 380 V and 480 V respectively. It also has a power rating of 0.4 kW. To enhance easy handling and commissioning, the EFC5610-0K40-3P4-MDB-7P-NNNNN-NNNN’s user panel is made up of a standard 5-digit 7-segment LED display, status LED, potentiometer and other relevant functions for efficient converter operations.
The EFC5610-0K40-3P4-MDB-7P-NNNNN-NNNN can be operated using the Bosch Rexroth software tools - ConverterWorks and IndraWorks. Operations such as converter speed selection, start and stop controls, and other parameter adjustments can be remotely carried out on these software tools by connecting the frequency converter with a PC via a standard USB port. The presence of a multi-ethernet interface also facilitates its connectivity with Rexroth control systems for a more simplified operation through the use of the Modbus RTU Fieldbus interface. In addition, it is designed with a built-in mains C3 filter according to EN61800-3.
Some intelligent features that have been incorporated into the design of the EFC5610-0K40-3P4-MDB-7P-NNNNN-NNNN include an integrated energy counter, pulse-train input and output, and an inbuilt PID controller for better control of the system. Short-term power failures can easily be managed with its bridge, and its energy efficiency is significantly improved with reduced noise during operation. This is made possible with the use of optional permanent motors and the ability of the converter’s pulse frequency to be adjusted over a wide range of values. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
