The EFC frequency converter is manufactured with a protection class of IP20 by Bosch Rexroth. The cooled with air from inside and outside the control cabinet or an integrated heat sink. A thermal compound paste is also used when mounting the cold plate of the frequency converter. To use the thermal compound paste, ensure that the converters heat sink and the mounting surface are free from dust, dirt, oil, and particles. A P12 thermal compound paste should be used and applied evenly with a thickness of 100μm.
The frequency converter output power is generated by pressing the run button on the control terminal. The out power is controlled by a potentiometer integrated into the frequency converter. The frequency converter is purchased with a dust cover. However, it is advisable to install a LED panel to be able to perform any settings.
