Product Description
Always install the Bosch Rexroth EFC3610-15K0-3P4-MDA-NN-NNNNN-NNNN Frequency converter vertically. When installing more than one of these drives, make sure that a minimum of 125mm airspace is allowed on the top and the bottom sides between the converters. The air spaces prevent rising hot air from overheating the frequency converters. Mounting is done using screws or DIN rail provided in other models of the converter like the 0K40 and 7K50. A cold plate model of the frequency converter should be mounted using a thermal compound paste. Before applying the thermal paste, clean the surface of the heat sink and cold plate from dust, dirt, oil, and particles.
Proceed with connecting the EFC3610-15K0-3P4-MDA-NN-NNNNN-NNNN converter to a power source after you have successfully mounted it. Ensure that you are using copper wires of 90 ℃ or above with XLPE or EPR insulation according to IEC60364-5-52. If your connection involves a double cable, connect the grounding conductor using two separate earthing conductors according to IEC61800-5-1 guidelines. The drive motor should be connected using a shielded cable. For control signal cable connection, strip the cable according to this dimension: 10mm by 1mm. Stripping of long cables may cause a short circuit of the adjacent cables while short stripped cables will make them too loose.
Follow the guidelines before beginning any wiring of the drives control terminals: Step 1: Switch the converter off before beginning any wiring. Step 2: Deactivate the control signals during the wiring process. Step 3: Power on the frequency converter. Step 4: Establish respective parameters. Step 5: Turn on respective control signals. Bosch Rexroth Group products are cleaned, passed through quality control, and are shipped through custom military-grade foam which ensures that the product arrives without any damage. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
