Product Description
Servo drives power servomechanisms as electronic amplifiers. They monitor feedback signals from the servo system and adjust for deviation. Indramat Rexroth Bosch is a leading technology firm that manufactures servo drive modules for a variety of applications. The MiniDrive series by Indramat Rexroth features four types of drivers with position interface. Categorized on the basis of size, power output and torque requirements, each type of these servo drives supports the same type of servomotors. The DMD021-W082N is the most powerful servo amplifier featuring a power output of up to 750 watts. It belongs to the second line of the DMD drive series.
The DMD021-W082N position drive has a nominal voltage of 230Vac. It has a width of 50mm, total height (including the mounting part) of 168mm, and a depth of 170mm. Since it’s a high-power alternative, the servo drive features a heat sink on the left side. The front panel of the drive features a six-digit LED display to communicate the current status of the servo drive. There are three arrow keys available beneath the LED to enter or edit the data. Below these keys, there are two motor changeover switches and a rotatory switch. Below these switches are the terminal block (at the left) and three connectors. The terminal block is meant to connect the motor and power supply with the servo drive, while the other three connectors are meant for PC, user-side signals and rotatory encoder.
There two types of servo parameters: user parameters and system parameters. The DMD02.1-W082N servo drive has different functions, such as velocity/position control, control and monitor output, dynamic brake function, hardware and software protection, communication function, and much more. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
