Product Description

The DMA 85B 1103-D is a sophisticated 3-phase module designed for use with AC servo motors. It is cooled by air with the aid of backplane mechanics. Also, it features a peak current rating of 85 Amperes. The approximate weight of the DMA 85B 1103-D is 11.5 kg. By dimension, the module width of this module is 0.1m. It comes designed with a first-generation serial real-time communications system (SERCOS) interface that facilitates communications between motion devices, industrial controls and I/O devices. 

The DMA 85B 1103-D also has a standardly designed encoder interface with zero additional functions. It can function as a master drive or a slave drive depending on the configuration and application. The performance of this module is typical of Rexroth products in the Servodyn-D series. The frequency range for vibration resistance is between 2 – 150 Hz, and it features a displacement of 1 mm at 2 – 13.2 Hz. In the advent of shocks, the resistance is rated at 15 grams iaw, as per DIN IEC 68-2-27. When mounting the DMA 85B 1103-D, the recommended altitude for optimum performance is 1000 meters above sea level. Derating the data of this module allows it to be mounted at up to 3000 meters above sea level.

During operation and storage, the immediate environment of the DMA 85B 1103-D must be devoid of acid, salt, dust, corrosive materials and metal vapours. The environmental temperature range without derating data is 0 – 45 degrees Celsius. With derated data, the temperature range is 46 – 55 degrees Celsius.  In addition, the permissible storage temperature has a minimum and maximum rating of -25 ^oC and 70 ^oC respectively.
