Product Description
The DMA 30A 5311-D servo drive is produced by Rexroth Indramat. It is a three-phase drive module that can work for a long period without breaking down or needing repairs. The servo drive is a part of the Rexroth Indramat Servodyn-D drive series. The drive provides accurate positional control over a single axis. The servo drive's 24 volts power supply module allows it to easily shut off electrical current when it strays outside the established pathway of the electrical circuit. The use of the 24-volt power supply module is a major advantage for the servo drive. Unlike other servo drives that use a fuse to protect their electrical circuit, the DMA 30A 5311-D servo does require constant replacement of the fuse every time short-circuiting occurs.
The DMA 30A 5311-D servo drive connects to a resolver encoder that monitors the servo motors' activities and sends back electrical signals representing the positional, speed, and torque output of the drive report through specialized encoder cables. The servo drive can be installed in two ways; the flexible horizontal installation and the fixed installation. For the flexible installation, the DMA 30A 5311-D servo drive should be installed with an encoder cable with a tensile strength of 20 newtons per millimeters square and a power cable with a tensile strength of 30 newtons per millimeters square. However, for the fixed installation, the tensile strength of the encoder cable and the power cable should be at least 50 newtons per millimeter square
The DMA 30A 5311-D servo drive should also be installed with a protection strip that stimulates a quick disengagement in the holding brake. The power demand from the 24Volts power supply module is 1.23 Amperes, while the switch cabinet's maximum power loss is 180 Watts. The servo drive can also resist mild vibrations. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
