Product Description

The DMA 140D 8001-D is a three phase module from the Servodyn-D series made by Bosch Indramat. The unit is air cooled and has a module width of 200 mm. The DMA 140D 8001-D is equipped with an analog 10 bits U/f characteristic interface (optional resolution of 12 or 16 bits) as part of the available standard variant. The DC link voltage for the DMA 140D 8001-D is 670 VDC regulated and 715 unregulated with switching frequencies of 4 kHz and 8 kHz. Maximum current at max OL is 42 A and at max CL is 87 A (at 4 kHz switching frequency).

The DMA 140D 8001-D demands 1.58 A from a 24 V power supply and has a maximum power loss of 700 W in the switch cabinet. The switch cabinet in which the unit is to be installed must have a protection rating of IP 54 and air filters are to be installed in airways. Air surrounding the unit must be kept free of high levels of dust, lye, salt etc. that can potentially cause damage. The DMA 140D 8001-D itself has a protection category of IP 20 as per EN 60 529. It can resist shocks up to 15 g and vibrations in the range of 2-150 Hz with no operational disturbance.

The DMA 140D 8001-D has a Climactic Category of 3K3 and should only be operated within 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. Higher temperatures will lead to decreased performance and possible thermal damage to semiconductors. Max elevation for installation is 1000 m for rated data; operation at higher altitudes, up to 3000 m above sea level is possible but performance will falter.
