Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth DMA 140D 5311-D is a 3-phase module designed for operating asynchronous / synchronous motors. It is one of the components of a modular Servodyn-D series inverter. Other components of the inverter module include connecting cables for motor power connection and encoder connection, power supply modules, mains connection modules, line wiring modules, line reactor modules, backplane modules, personality modules, mains filter, memory card and option modules. The DMA 140D 5311-D can be used with SR / SF series servo motors and DU series asynchronous motors. Configuration of the module can be accomplished through the DSS-D commissioning system running on a connected personal computer. Current rating of the module is 140 Amps. The module current derates by 2.5 Amps per one degree Kelvin increase above 45 degrees Celsius for 4 kilohertz switching frequency and by 1.75 Amps per one degree Kelvin increase above 45 degrees Celsius for 8 kilohertz switching frequency.
The recommended temperature range for module operation is from 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. The operating temperature should not exceed 55 degrees Celsius under any conditions as that could lead to equipment failure. The DMA 140D 5311-D is cooled through natural convection and a minimum of 100 millimeters clearance should be provided above and below the mounted unit for air circulation. The width of the DMA 140D 5311-D is 200 millimeters. Other module features include resolver interface for encoder, 24 Volt control signal interface and support for one axis positioning. The module requires 24 Volts voltage input and draws 1.58 Amps. The approximate weight of the DMA 140D 5311-D is 45.5 pounds. Bosch recommends installation and maintenance of the module by trained personnel only. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
