Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth DMA 140D 5111-D is a three-phase module. It can be used to operate various synchronous / asynchronous motors manufactured by Bosch including DU series asynchronous motors, SF / SR series synchronous motors and synchronous linear motors. The DMA 140D 5111-D is one of the components of a modular inverter system which is part of the Servodyn-D product line from Bosch. Electronic rating plates of the IGBT inverter output stage and connected motor contain the necessary drive data and are able to set the parameters for the control of module-motor combination used. The DMA 140D 5111-D features one axis positioning, 24 Volt control signal interface, air cooling (backplane mechanics) and is rated for maximum 140 Amps current. The module is configured from a PC running the DSS-D service system which is connected to the module through a RS-232 serial interface.
Width of the module is 200 millimeters. Environmental specifications for the DMA 140D 5111-D include 15 G shock rating, IP20 protection rating according to EN 60529, 3K3 climatic category according to EN 60721, -13 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit storage / transport temperature range and 32 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit operating temperature range. The DMA 140D 5111-D can be operated between 114 and 131 degrees Fahrenheit but in this case the output of the module derates by 2.25 Amps for every 1 Kelvin increase in ambient temperature. At 4 kilohertz switching frequency the maximum and rated current values are 141 Amps and 42 Amps respectively. At 8 kilohertz switching frequency the maximum and rated current values are 117 Amps and 25 Amps respectively. Current drawn from the 24 Volts DC power supply by the module is approximately 1.58 Amps. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
