Product Description
Manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the fully digital inverter systems in the Servodyn-D series, the DMA 140D 1201-D is a three-phase module for backplane modules. It is meant to be used in modular inverters in this series, as the inverter system has a modular and compact structure. The main advantage of this Servodyn-D inverter system is the three-phase module, which was constructed in the same way the IGBT output stages are structured. This allows it to work with brushless asynchronous and synchronous motors. The three-phase module also features position control. The DMA 140D 1201-D backplane module is fitted with an air cooling system and backplane mechanics for temperature regulation.
It has a maximum current of 140 kHz, and the module width is 200 mm. Another feature of the DMA 140D 1201-D is its setpoint interface, which is the SERCOS interface with a 32-bit resolution and powerful processor board. The SERCOS interface makes it possible to interconnect the DMA 140D 1201-D backplane module with fiber optics. It also allows for full digital control of the position, current, and speed. The encoder interface of the DMA 140D 1201-D is a gear encoder contained in the SERCOS interface.
The DMA 140D 1201-D can be used in the Servodyn-D series for hardware like asynchronous and built-in motors with gear or absolute encoders. There are no additional functions that the DMA 140D 1201-D provides, and no special variants either. It is only suitable for the Servodyn-D series, which offers a wide range of advantages apart from those related to the three-phase module. It can also be applied to different hardware, interfaces, and functions. This single hardware can be used to operate different motors. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
