The DMA 85B 1101-D is a servo drive module from Bosch Rexroth. The module is one of the various such Servodyn D series devices. This product can be used with asynchronous and synchronous motors from any manufacturer. It encompasses a three-phase design with position control and air-cooling through backplane mechanics. The device can be installed in a control cabinet with 300mm depth. After disconnecting the unit from the mains, wait for at least 5 minutes for de-energization of the system before removing the cover. The unit is intended for operation only after the precautions required for ESD protection have been met. The unit has a width of 50mm.
The standard servo drive module is equipped with a SERCOS interface that can be commissioned and installed with ease. This interface comprises real-time processing capability. The 32-bit signal processor on the processor board renders digital current, speed and position control. The inbuilt personality module renders a 2-channel redundant safety monitoring feature with its RSU capability. The product has a power demand of 1.35A from the 24V power supply module. The resolver has a resolution of 12 bits of the actual position value. The CE Certified device is available with a one-year warranty.
The module must not be installed in environments where there is lye, acid, metal vapor, etc. The components of this unit should be handled properly to avoid damage. The hazardous warnings must be followed to prevent personnel from getting injured. The product incorporates the RMB/DM type backplane module with two fans. It has a maximum current rating of 86ARMS at a frequency of 4kHz and a regulated DC link voltage of 675VDC. The device experiences a derating between 45°C and 55°C.
