Product Description
The DMA 04A 4101-D is a state-of-the-art industrial derive controller designed by Rexroth Indramat to offer synchronous and asynchronous motor accurate motion control. This drive controller is part of the servodyn D drive series whose members are characterized by their high-performance data, high durability and high flexibility. The DMA 04A 4101-D controller is a multiphase drive; it has greater fault tolerance and can withstand mild industrial disturbances. The controller yields smoother torque due to the simultaneous increase of the torque pulsation frequency and reduction of the torque ripple magnitude.
The DMA 04A 4101-D drive controller should not be operated in industrial environments that contain a high level of dust, acids, metal vapours, and salts. The build-up of the foreign particles can damage the controller's electrical components and cause the housing of the drive to rust rapidly. The DMA 04A 4101-D controller features a 16-bit analogue interface; it uses this interface to transmit position values and other digital information to other parts of the servo system. It also connects with a standard encoder that coverts physical movements of the motor to digital signals, which the drive controller can work with. This drive controller's rating, technical data, and power requirements meet the EN 60204-1 quality standard.
Special warning symbols and signs have been integrated into various parts of the DMA 04A 4101-D drive controller; operators should watch out for these warning signals when handling the controller. The drive controller requires a rated current of about 2.7 Amperes for efficient operation; however, it can draw a maximum power of 5.6 Amperes from the mains. The controller weighs about 7.3 kilograms. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
