Product Description

The DMA 045A 8001-D is an inverter system with extensive closed-loop control for current position and speed. It is manufactured by Rexroth Indramat and suitable for use with asynchronous and synchronous motors. It leverages air-cooling for temperature regulation and comes with a characteristic 10-bits analog interface. The DMA 045A 8001-D is a standard variant of the Servodyn-D series. It has no encoder interface; it is and devoid of additional functions. 

The DMA 045A 8001-D features a 24 Volts power supply module, with a current rating of 1.32 Amperes. It has an approximate weight of 7.3 kg, and its module width of 50 mm. The power loss of this equipment, when installed in a switch cabinet, has a maximum value of 220 Watts. At 4 kHz switching frequency, the maximum current of this unit is 51 A_rms at maximum overload and 39 A_rms at maximum continuous load. Also, at the same condition, the derated temperature range is 45 – 55 ^oC.  The nominal operating temperature range is 0 to 45 ^oC. By design, the makeup of the DMA 045A 8001-D conforms with the IP 20 material protection specifications, as per EN 60 529.

It falls under the 3K3 climatic category, as per EN 60 721. The DMA 045A 8001-D is resistant to vibration within a frequency range of 2 – 150 Hz, in a variety of applications. The installation altitude of this inverter module is maximum at 1000 meters when operating at nominal data. Derating the specifications of this equipment allows up to 3000 m installation altitude but a reduction in performance.
