Product Description
The DM 8K 9101-D is a three-phase module drive controller manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. This controller belongs to the Servodyn drive Series. It is reliable, compact, and highly flexible. It can effectively control the operation of both synchronous and asynchronous motor series; However, it meets the highest power demand when connected to synchronous motors. The DM 8K 9101-D drive controller is produced according to the IP20 protection category; however, it must be installed into a control cabinet with an IP54 protection category before the drive is operated. The drive controller uses the CANopen and CANrho communication protocol to communicate with the command centre. This communication protocol supports network management, device monitoring and communication between nodes, including a simple transport layer for message segmentation/desegmentation.
The DM 8K 9101-D drive controller uses a standard encoder interface, it features a closed-loop feedback system which allows it to adjust the movement of the motor without the interference of the operator. The electrical energy required for the drive controller's operation is supplied by an external power supply module following the EN 61131. All accessories must be approved by Rexroth Indramat before they are connected to the DM 8K 9101-D drive controller. The controller weighs about 6.0 kilograms under normal conditions.
The DM 8K 9101-D drive controller operates with a rated current of 1.1 Amperes and a maximum current of 10 Amperes. The width of the controller is 50 millimetres. Special backplane modules are connected to the DM 8K 9101-D drive controller to facilitate its operation. For example, a special cold module can be installed to regulate the heat generated by the drive controller. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
