Product Description
The DM 8K 8001-D is a new-generation drive controller produced by Rexroth Indramat. This controller features a three-phase module design and can be configured to control the speed, acceleration, and power output of the SR synchronous motor series and the DU asynchronous motor series using the same hardware components. The motor communicates to the command center through an analog interface; however, the drive contains no encoder interface. The DM 8K 8001-D must be installed in a control cabinet that contains air filters and meets the IP54 protection category. The motor is part of the Servodyn-D industrial series manufactured by Rexroth Indramat.
The DM 8K 8001-D controller weighs 6.0 kilogram; thus, it can be easily installed at any position in the industrial environment. The motor is resistant to vibrating frequency ranging from 2 to 150 hertz; it is also resistant to 15-gram law shock, according to DIN IEC 68-2-27. The components of the DM 8K 8001-D have a long service life; however, if there is a need to replace any part of the motor, the Rexroth Indramat customer care should be contacted through the hotline numbers in the documentation. The DM 8K 8001-D drive controller should never be operated with faulty components. The controller also meets the 3k3 climatic category according to EN 60 529.
The DM 8K 8001-D drive controller operates with an input voltage of 670 volts and a rated current of 1.1 Amperes. The drive controller can also operate with a maximum current of 7.1Amperes. To prevent electrical accidents, the DM 8K 8001-D drive controller must be securely connected to a grounding system. The maximum power lost in the drive controller during operation is 96.5 watts. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
