Product Description

Manufactured by Bosch Indramat, the DM 30K 8001-D is a Servodyn-D series three phase module for both synchronous and asynchronous motors. The DM 30K 8001-D has an analog 10 bits, U/f characteristic interface with no additional functions or encoder interface and only has the standard variant. The input for the DM 30K 8001-D is rated at 670 V, 8.5 A dc while the output is rated at 8.2 A, 400 V, 0-800 Hz, 8kHz. The DC link voltage is rated 670 VDC for regulated and 715 VDC for unregulated; maximum power loss from the unit is rated at 156 W.

The ambient temperature range for the DM 30K 8001-D is 0-45 degrees Celsius but the unit can be operated at temperatures up to 55 degrees Celsius although performance loss is to be expected. The max installation altitude for rated performance is 1000 m above sea level but the unit can be operated at upwards of 3000 m above sea level with expected decrease in performance compared to the rated data. The DM 30K 8001-D has a protection category rating of IP 20 according to EN 60 529 and a Climactic category rating of 3K3 in accordance with EN 60 721.

The DM 30K 8001-D can resist sudden shocks up to 15 g with no functional disturbance observed. The unit can also resist vibrations within the frequency range of 2-150 Hz with no operational changes. The Servodyn modules are only to be installed in switch cabinets with IP 54 rating and the surroundings are to be kept free of contaminants like dust, acid, salt, metal vapors etc. Damage due to negligence is not covered under warranty by Wake Industrial.
