Product Description
The DM 30K 5111-D is a standard variant three-phase module for Servodyn-D systems. Width of the module is 50 millimeters and it weighs 6 kilograms. The maximum power loss of the module is 156 Watts. Input rating of the module is 24 Volts DC and the rated current draw from the power supply is 1.03 Amps. At 8 kilohertz switching frequency, the maximum current is 22 Amps and the rated module current is 3.6 Amps. At 4 kilohertz switching frequency the maximum current is 29 Amps and the rated current is 5.9 Amps. The rated DC link voltage for the DM 30K 5111-D is 715 Volts DC non-regulated and 670 Volts DC regulated. The module is used in Servodyn-D inverter systems for operating synchronous and asynchronous motors. Features available on the module are standard encoder, one-axis positioning and interface for 24 Volt control signals.
The DM 30K 5111-D is a compact mechanics module which is cooled through natural convection. Bosch recommends provision of 100 millimeters of free space above and below the mounted three-phase module to allow for circulation of air to aid in convection cooling. For optimal module operation, Bosch recommends ambient temperature between 32 and 113 degrees Fahrenheit. If the ambient temperature exceeds this recommended range then the module output current will reduce by 0.35 Amps / 0.24 Amps at 4 / 8 kilohertz switching frequency for every single degree Kelvin increase above 113 degrees Fahrenheit. Furthermore the module current also reduces below rated values if the module is installed above 1000 meters of elevation above sea level. The DM 30K 5111-D module can be operated with derating up to 3000 meters elevation above sea level. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
