The Rexroth DKS01.2-W100A-DA07-02-FW is an advanced digital drive designed for control of MDD series AC motors. The basic unit of the drive contains slots which can be filled with various modules to adapt the drive to the customer requirements. The software module contains the operating software and operating parameters for the DKS01.2-W100A-DA07-02-FW and is installed in slot U5. Plug-in cards such as I/O modules and incremental position interface cards can be installed in slot U1 to U4. Additionally, command interface cards, which provide interface between the drive and control can also be installed. Command interface cards are available in three versions: SERCOS which allows drive operation with SERCOS compatible controllers over fiber optic connection, Analog interface with incremental encoder which permits operation with convention controllers and Analog interface with absolute-value encoder which also permits drive operation with conventional controllers.
Performance specifications of the DKS01.2-W100A-DA07-02-FW include 50 Amps continuous current, 100 Amps rated current and 100 Amps peak current. Configuration designation of the drive is DA07-02-FW. Functions implemented on the drive can be matched to customer requirements. Integrated features available on the drive include DSF resolver, protection system, dynamic braking, programmable error reaction, inrush current limiting and motor holding brake. Input of the drive is rated for 230 Volts AC (three-phase, 50 to 60 Hertz). Under maximal load conditions the DKS01.2-W100A-DA07-02-FW draws 11 kVA power. Bleeder on the drive regenerated power which can go up to 18 kilowatts. The continuous bleeder power i.e. the continuous regenerated power for the drive is 0.5 kilowatts. For optimal operation with rated values the installation altitude of the drive should be less than or equal to 3300 feet and the ambient temperature should be between 41 and 113 degrees Fahrenheit.
