The Rexroth DKS01.1-W100A-R is an Indramat DKS servo drive which comes with a resolver type encoder. The motor type which can be used with the servo drive is MDD. Continuous current rating for the DKS01.1-W100A-R I is 50 Amps and the peak current rating is 100 Amps. DKS drives suffer power losses in the electronic and power sections and in the bleeder. The bleeder loss depends on machine cycle, rotational drive energy and potential energy of unbalanced masses. The maximum power loss for the DKS01.1-W100A-R is 480 Watts. The peak bleeder power is 18 kilowatts and the continuous power for the bleeder is 0.5 kilowatts. Power requirement of the drive depends on the motor used with the servo. The max power requirement can go up to 11 kVA. Input of the drive is designed for 230 Volts AC.
The drive is only compatible with three-phase input at 50 to 60 Hertz. The DKS01.1-W100A-R dissipates heat inside the control cabinet. Bosch Rexroth recommends minimum 80 millimeters of spacing on the top and bottom sides of the mounted drive to allow for appropriate air circulation. The DKS01.1-W100A-R is rated for standard noise emission. Internal DC bus voltage is 300 Volts DC. Recommended environmental conditions for the drive include 5 to 45 degrees Celsius operating temperature, -30 to 85 degrees Celsius storage temperature and maximum installation altitude of 1000 meters. The maximum ambient air humidity is humidity class F per DIN 40 040. Operation of the drive outside these recommended thresholds leads reduction in output power and torque. Tightly sealed control cabinets should be used for drive installation to prevent condensation. Enclosure of the drive has IP10 rating and weighs approximately 24.25 pounds.
