Product Description
The DKS01.1-W100A-DS50-00-FW drive offered by Bosch Rexroth is a DKS series digital servo drive. This product operates in conjunction with an MDD series of digital servomotor from the same manufacturer. The motor and power cables of the product should not be allowed to come in contact with the 15VDC and 24VDC low voltages. The unit features five push-in terminal blocks. The device is equipped with a RS-232 serial interface at its X2 terminal block to connect to a computer or a VT-100 terminal. Its main contactor cannot be turned on if the ZKS and AUS (off) inputs are in the closed state.
The X8 terminal block of the product supports 15VDC and 24VDC signal voltages for test and measurement purposes. The device has a PWM frequency of 4kHz and also an internal DC bus voltage of 300VDC. The voltage outputs of the unit are protected against the short-circuit. Its load current must not be allowed to increase beyond 100mA for the drive to operate properly. The Bb1, TVW and UD contacts of the unit have a voltage rating of 24V as well as a continuous and short-term current rating of 1A. The drive can operate at a maximum temperature of 55°C with derated data.
The UD contact helps in ensuring that the digital servo drive has a proper power supply. The K1NO and K1NC1 outputs of the product can be scanned to check for energization and de-energization of the main contactor. The AK1 and AK2 analog diagnostic outputs serve as measuring points. The device must be connected to the MDD AC servomotor using the manufacturer’s power cables. This power cable features a wire for the ground connection, three wires for the motor power connection and two separately shielded wire pairs for the motor brake and monitoring the temperature of the motor. It can be shipped through reputed agencies like FedEx with a one-year warranty tag.
