Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth DKS01.1-W100A-DA07-02-FW from the DKS series can be powered by a grounded 3- phase power system without any connections from the isolation transformer. A single-phase connection may be used as the power source although it will lower the drive's performance. In scenarios where a high voltage difference occurs between the phases for several seconds, an isolation transformer is installed to control the overvoltage current. A Circuit breaker or fuse can be used to protect the servo drive system that is connected to the main source. If a fuse is used, the protection system to be used is chosen in regard to the drive's maximum load. Fuses can also be selected based on the confirmed current flow in the input power line and should not be lower than 10 A.
Indramat Rexroth recommended operating method for the DKS01.1-W100A-DA07-02-FW servo drive is to control the contactor and the braking in the system. Selecting the right control method depends on the functionality and how the entire servo system responds. A shot in the internal bus of the drive may occur as a protection measure from power problems in the drive's electronic system. Whenever a shot circuit occurs, the drive's motor is braked to a halt.
If the DKS01.1-W100A-DA07-02-FW locks the dynamic braking system, the drive's motor will be braked at maximum speeds in case of a power surge. This, however, does not occur if the trouble is in the closed-loop electronic system, or if there is a break of the circuit in the feedback line. Servo drives with mechanical holding motors can be used as a solution to this problem. The DKS01.1-W100A-DA07-02-FW is supplied as an Intelligent Digital Servo Drive with a power supply unit. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
