Product Description

The DKS01.1-W100A-DA06-01-FW servo drive made by Bosch Rexroth is designed for installation in a controlled cabinet as per the IP 10 per DIN 40 050 protection regulations. The protection class guarantees protection from penetration from solid objects with widths greater than 50mm. The protection class, however, does not cover penetration by water or deliberate acts of damage.  Always ensure that you observe ambient temperatures in the controlled cabinets for proper cooling of the drive. Improper set up of the cooling units may lead to the damage of the drive controller as the condensed air may drip on the drive unit. To avoid condensation, ensure that the cooling unit is sealed tightly, and the temperature is maintained at 40°C or lower.

 The servo drive signal cable should be routed differently from the power cables to avoid any confusion and interference. Ensure that the power and the motor drive cables do not come into contact with lower voltages: 15 V DC and +24 V DC. Signal cables are connected through the D-subminiature connectors for easy and fast replacement in case of damage later on. The DKS01.1-W100A-DA06-01-FW analog signals are transmitted through shielded cables, which are connected to the drive module. During performing high voltage tests as per the VDE 0160 (component testing), all connections to the servo drive should be disconnected to avoid damaging their electric components. Electrostatic charges emitted from the drive motor are harmful, and any object exposed is discharged by grounding. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
