The DKS01.1-W050A-R is a unique main spindle drive produced by Rexroth Indramt to amplify and transmit received command signals to the MDD digital AC servo motor in any servo system. The DKS01.1-W050A-R spindle drive is designed to operate with a current of about 50 Amperes. The DKS01.1-W050A-R spindle drive is both flexible and efficient; it can be adjusted to suit different industrial machines by inserting unique customization cards into the slots U1 to U5 present in its basic drive unit.
The DKS01.1-W050A-R spindle drive features the Command interface cards, which serve as the connection between the drive and the control system, the software module cards, which contains all computer programs that run and control all activities of the servo drive. The software module cards make customization or a new servo drive with old settings easy as the module cards can simply be removed from the old servo drive and inserted into the new one. Unlike most spindle motors, the DKS01.1-W050A-R spindle motor is self-diagnostic; It can independently identify an operational, electrical, and or active error it runs into and automatically acts out the pre-programmed error command that has been written into its software module. The spindle drive is also designed to control the holding brake of the MDD AC servo motor.
The DKS01.1-W050A-R spindle drive is ideal for industrials since it is very durable and can stimulate very high power output from the servo motor. It has a PMW frequency of 4Kilohertz and operates with a continuous current of 25Amperes. It uses a three-phase power supply and works with an input voltage of 3x 230Volts. The drive weighs 11 kilograms and should not be operated in relative humidity conditions greater than 70%, leading to electrical malfunction or mechanical breakdown.
