The DKS01.1-W050A-DS68-50-FW servo drive is a modern state-of-the-art servo drive designed by Rexroth Indramat to control the acceleration, speed, position, and power output of the MDD digital AC servo motor. In the servo system, which contains the servo motor, the servo drive, and the control system, the DKS01.1-W050A-DS68-50-FW servo drive amplifies and sends the signals it receives from the control system to the MDD servo motor based on some commands present in its software system. Since the DKS01.1-W050A-DS68-50-FW consumes a lot of energy during operation, it has a special built-in battery designed to supply electrical power to the drive during sudden power interruptions. Unlike other drives, the DKS01.1-W050A-DS68-50-FW servo drive houses its control and power section in one unit. The servo drive is controlled and configured to specific industrial applications with special customization cards. Customization cards are much more effective and easier to apply.

The DKS01.1-W050A-DS68-50-FW servo drive's rated current is 50Amperes. The temperature produced by the drive is not very high and can be easily dissipated by Natural convention, although additional cooling systems can be added to help this process. The internal bus voltage of the drive is about 300 Volts. A 3-phase power connection is used to connect the servo drive to the mains electricity to maintain its high power requirement. Through the 3-phase input connection, the spindle drive draws about 3x 230 volts of electricity during normal operation.

The DKS01.1-W050A-DS68-50-FW servo drive contains a bleeder resistor, which discharges the electric charge stored in the power supply's filter capacitors when the servo drive is turned off. The bleeder resistor consumes a continuous regenerative power of 0.5 kilowatts and a peak regenerative power of 18kilowatts during operation. Indramat ensures the quality of all its products is ascertained and tested before they are allowed to leave the factory. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
