The DKS01.1-W030B-RL03-00 is a Bosch Rexroth DKS-series drive controller which combines with an MDD AC servo motor to form a complete system. The drive can be plugged in with card modules to customize it to the particular application at hand. This product runs on a 1-phase or 3-phase input voltage of 230 Volts. It has a feature that can automatically shut-down the unit in case of an emergency. In case of an electronics failure, the drive can slow and stop itself via integral dynamic braking. The DKS01.1-W030B-RL03-00 has the function of running a programmable error routine in case of a system fault.
Inrush current limiting feature in this product lowers the inrush current without using an extra fuse for the same. This also enhances the life of an installed fuse or circuit-breaker. Cables are connected easily via screw terminals. The drive has an alphanumeric LCD which can be used for troubleshooting purposes. The drive can also govern the holding brake of a motor.
The drive can cool down on its own using the integrated heat sink. This drive is meant to operated on 30 A of current. The mass of this drive controller is 11 kg. The drive must not be stored and transported at a temperature less than -30 degree and not more than +85 degree. Refer to the configuration sheet to find the safe motor/servo drive combinations. To avoid fire hazard do not permit condensation water to form anywhere on the drive. Internal buses in the product run on 300 Volts. Store the product in a place which is free from dust and vibrations. Take care that the humidity of the store room is not above 75%.
