The DKS01.1-W030B-RL02-00 is an intelligent servo drive which is meant to be used with MDD AC servo motor. This Bosch Rexroth servo drive can be used in various applications by plugging in pre-programmed card modules. This unit operates on AC current of 1-phase or 3-phase 230 Volts. The servo drive controller features an auto shut-down mechanism to protect the unit in case of an emergency. It has another feature called integral dynamic braking which can decelerate and stop the drive completely when an electronics failure is encountered. The drive controller has the feature to run a programmable error routine in case of an error, failure, or fault.
The feature of inrush current limiting removes the need for installing an additional fuse to bring down inrush current. If a fuse or circuit breaker is installed, inrush current limiting can make them last for a longer time. Electrical connections for this device can be easily done by screw terminals. Status and other codes can be easily read on the alphanumeric display for diagnosis and troubleshooting. The drive can also control and operate the holding brake of the motor.
Heat is dissipated internally in the controller. The current rating of this model is 30 A. This controller weighs just 11 kg. Store and transport this product in a range of -30 degree to 85 degree C. The configuration sheet found in the manual gives a list of combos of the AC motor and the drive controller. At all costs do not permit condensation water to form or drip on this unit.
