Product Description
The DKS01.1-W030B-RL01-01-FW is a digital servo drive produced by Indramat. Its basic unit has an integrated power supply. It weighs approximately 11 kg and is used with an MDD motor.
For DKS 1 servo drives, heat generated is dissipated inside the cabinet. This is the warm type of cooling mechanism. The air inside the enclosure can be cooled using a cooling mechanism. This must be done properly to avoid various hazards that could damage the servo drive. Condensation hazards can occur when warm humid air enters the control cabinet enclosure, leading to moisture condensation on the drive. Water from condensation is known as the condensate. Condensate hazards can occur when this water drips down into installed drives. This water can also be sprayed together with circulating cooling air if the cooling unit is not set up and positioned well inside the cabinet or enclosure.
To avoid condensation, no warm humid air should be able to enter the enclosure from the outside because this can cause condensation. To prevent this warm air from entering, the control cabinets must be tightly sealed when being using with cooling units. For cooling units with a fixed temperature setting, this must be set to 40°C and never below this. When the cooling unit has variable temperature controls, these must be adjusted to ensure that the temperature of the air inside the enclosure is always higher than the outside air temperature. The temperature limit must be set to 40°C. When the cooling unit is installed on the top of the enclosure, there must be a special design for the enclosure. The design must sure that condensate cannot be sprayed onto the drives. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
