The DKS01.1-W030B-DS24-03-FW is a servo drive controller designed by Rexroth Indramat to control an MDD AC servo motor. Combining the DKS01.1-W030B-DS24-03-FW and the MDD AC servo motor forms a servo drive system used to provide kinetic energy for industrial applications. The functions implemented on the drive controller can be matched to the given application by installing various plug-in modules on the servo drive. A fully configured drive should contain a configuration label, a command interface card, a basic servo drive unit, and a software module. These customization cards should be installed into the slots U1 to U5 present on the board, as stated in the drive’s documentation.
The DKS01.1-W030B-DS24-03-FW has a rated current of 30A Amperes. It can be connected to either a three-phase power source or a or a single-phase power source. In the case of a sudden interruption in the current supply, the DKS01.1-W030B-DS24-03-FW drive controller is gradually stopped using an integral dynamic braking system. If the drive runs into any problem during operation, it immediately carries out its programmable error reaction. The drive connects to the motor using two major cables; the power cable through which it supplies power to the motor and the motor feedback cable through which it sends and receives signals from the motor.
