Product Description

The DKR04.1-W300N-BT29-02-FW controller is equipped with a SERCOS interface that acts as a point of communication between the drive controller and a computer. The SERCOS serial interface can also be connected to other control units through fiber optic cables. The drive controller manufactured by Bosh Rexroth is designed for digital control of the following Rexroth motors; linear motors LSF or LAF, and Ac main spindle motors 2AD or ADF. The controller has a broad speed range supplied with constant power that makes it suitable for operations with printing machines or NC-controlled machine tools. The drive controller meets the IP20 protection category as per EN 60 529 and should be operated at ambient temperatures of 0°C to 40 °C as per EN 60 204. The recommended installation height for the drive is from 0 to 1000 m above sea level.

The DKR04.1-W300N-BT29-02-FW can be operated RS-232 interface or as RS-485. The RS-232 interface allows for a maximum number of participants, transmission rates of 9600/19200 baud, and transmission length of up to 15 meters. Power connections for the DKR controller should be from mains connection to grounded AC mains with 3xAC 400 V ... 480 V. However, the drive controller can be connected to ungrounded three-phase systems through isolating transformers or via overvoltage suppressors. The isolating transformer protects the DKR drive controller from a possible overvoltage in the supply line.

The drive controller can be cooled with air from outside the control cabinet. It is necessary to convert the cooling method if the air openings on the top and bottom side of the device to be changed are closed with covers. This cooling method conducts approximately 2/3 of the emitted heat outside the cabinet. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
