Bosch Rexroth drive controller, the DKR04.1-W300N-BT29-01-FW can be configured with various components i.e. modules, to perform specific functions like precise and intelligent control of servo motors. A fully configured drive controller contains; basic unit, a software module, command interface cards, and auxiliary plug-in modules. The drive controller is equipped with an integrated contactor and an emergency stop shutdown device. The DKR drive controller can be expanded by an external brake resistor for braking purposes in case the mains fail. Bosch Rexroth supplies the drive controller with an integrated Heat sink and blower for cooling the device. This type of cooling method conducts cold air into the machine through an air duct. The design can be reconstructed to meet different cooling demands such as cooling with air from outside or inside the control cabinet.
The DKR04.1-W300N-BT29-01-FW is designed for connections to a grounded AC main with 3xAC 400 V ... 480 V. The drive controller signal or control cables like feedback connections should be routed away from magnetic fields and high-frequency equipment to prevent interference in the connection signals. The Maximum length of the feedback and motor connection is 75 meters. The maximum length, however, does not apply to clamping points and intermediate coupler units. Observe the following to avoid electromagnetic or related interference in the signals; Use recovery diodes with direct current and contactor- resistance-capacitance with alternating current.
The DKR04.1-W300N-BT29-01-FW drive controller incorporates a broad speed range with constant power and a high level of control that meets the requirements for use in NC-controlled machine tools or printing machines. The drive can be installed in heights of 1000m above sea level and is operated in ambient conditions with temperatures from +5° to +45° C.
