The DKR02.1-W300N-BE79-01-FW is a Rexroth Indramat drive controller. It features a built-in blower for cooling. The drive dissipates energy via the air vents located at the top of the housing and via the built-in heatsink. The dissipated energy is emitted in the form of heat. The total heat dissipated when the controller is operating at rated continuous output current is 1800 Watts. The heat dissipation in an air channel or with coolant is 1200 Watts. Different cooling variants can be selected for controller cooling including cooling with a duct, cooling with air from outside the control enclosure or cooling with air from inside the control enclosure. Rexroth recommends mounting of the IP 20 rated controller housing inside a control cabinet where it will be protected from dust, moisture and from unauthorized access.

Rated output of the DKR02.1-W300N-BE79-01-FW is 300 Amps. Features available on the controller include SERCOS command communication and digital servo and resolver feedback. The DKR02.1-W300N-BE79-01-FW has a modular architecture comprising of a basic unit, software module, command interface and auxiliary plug in cards. Three name plates are mounted on the controller to ensure that the configured drive is clearly labeled. A configured DKR series controller should be ordered with the srequired firmware. Auxiliary plug in cards which can be ordered for the DKR controller include modules with digital I/O for data exchanges, analog signal interface, CLC link modules, Rexroth toothed wheel encoders, measuring systems, single turn encoders and incremental measuring systems with square-ware or sinusoidal signal output. The DKR02.1-W300N-BE79-01-FW is rated for 400 to 480 Volts AC input. The controller can be directly connected to the AC mains. Only qualified personnel should install and service the controller.
