The Rexroth Indramant DKR02.1-W300N-BA04-01-FW is an advanced modular drive controller. The basic unit of the controller includes five slots which can accommodate different plug in modules. The module architecture gives the system flexibility and scalability. Two slots are reserved and the three slots can be used for a wide variety of optional module. The reserved slots are slot U1 for the command interface and slot U5 for the firmware module. The firmware module is denoted ESM02.3. Along with the firmware, all the drive parameters are stored on the firmware module. The firmware should be selected for the required configuration and features, and is ordered separately from the drive. If a malfunctioning DKR02.1-W300N-BA04-01-FW needs replacement, the firmware module can simply be moved to another drive. A configured firmware module can also be duplicated for installation on machines that require a similar configuration.
Command communication interface installed on the DKR02.1-W300N-BA04-01-FW is analog. Feedback is supported through an integrated digital servo and resolver. A blower and heatsink are integrated into the controller for cooling. The air for cooling the device is conducted through the controller in an air duct. This construction enables adaptation to different configurations including cooling with air from inside the control enclosure, cooling with a duct or cooling with air from outside the control enclosure. The optimal temperature range for controller operation is 5 to 45 degrees Celsius. The DKR02.1-W300N-BA04-01-FW does not feature an integrated bleeder. Rated current output for the DKR02.1-W300N-BA04-01-FW is 300 Amps. The function numeric code is 04 and the version function numeric code is 01. Handling, installation, commissioning and operation of the DKR02.1-W300N-BA04-01-FW should only be performed by trained and qualified personnel.
