Product Description
The DKR02.1-W300N-B drive controller is a state-of-the-art device developed by Rexroth Indramat to control and monitor the speed, acceleration, position and the general operation of electrical motor in the industrial servo system. The DKR02.1-W300N-B controller operates with two main types of electronic connections; the power connection and the motor feedback connection. The power connection helps the motor to send electrical power to the industrial motor while the motor feedback connection is involved in the exchange of digital information between the controller and the industrial motor.
The DKR02.1-W300N-B controller is an air-cooled device, it features a heatsink and an internal air blower which regulates the housing temperature by blowing out hot air through the air silts present in housing of the controller. A brake resistor can be connected to the drive controller to protect the power circuit of the controller from regenerated energy produced during motor deceleration. This brake resistor has a maximum braking energy of about 240 kilowatts, it also uses a continuous power of about 1.5 kilowatts.
The DKR02.1-W300N-B operates with a control voltage of 240 volts during normal operation. For optimal results, the controller should not be installed at an elevation level that exceed 1000 meters above sea level. The controller connects to the mains through a three phase connector, this connector provides it with higher power density, it also reduces the amount of cabling required for the installation of the controller. The maximum current this drive controller receives from the mains is about 212 Amperes. During operation, the ambient temperature around the controller should not exceed +55 degree Celsius, however if the drive is not required for immediate application, then it should be stored at ambient conditions that falls between -30 to +80 degree Celsius. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
