The DKR02.1-W200N-BA08-01-FW is an IP20-rated drive controller in the Rexroth Indramat DKR series. It comes with an M1-RAC3 mounting accessory that weighs about 1.7 kg. By design, this equipment cools with the help of an air blower and offers several air-cooling mechanisms. It could cool with the aid of air generated from inside its housing, air from outside its housing or duct cooling. While in use, the DKR02.1-W200N-BA08-01-FW dissipates energy through the in-built heatsink and the air vents on its housing. The dissipated energy is emitted as heat.

At continuous drive current, the cumulative heat dissipated by the DKR02.1-W200N-BA08-01-FW is 1.6 kW, and with the air channel in place, the heat dissipation is rated at 1 kW. The power voltage of this drive controller ranges between 0 – 380 volts and the peak current has a value of 141 Amperes. When installing the DKR02.1-W200N-BA08-01-FW, it must be done in accordance with the mounting positions indicated in the manufacturer’s documentation. From inside the cabinet, the minimum clearance for the air inlet and the air outlet is 160 mm.

If the DKR02.1-W200N-BA08-01-FW is operated at an ambient temperature greater than 45 ^oC, a heat exchanger may be required. The heat exchanger must be positioned in such a way that drips or jets of water does not contact the electronic parts of this equipment.
