Product Description
The Bosch FWA-ECODR3-SMT-02V50-D5 is a firmware which is specifically designed for industrial applications involving machine tools. It is installed on Rexroth ECODRIVE03 drive controllers which have analog, parallel and SERCOS interfaces. The firmware is loaded onto a firmware module which is then installed on the drive. This architecture enables fast replacement of faulty drives: the firmware module from a faulty drive can be removed and installed on a replacement drive. Thus reconfiguration of the replacement drive is not required. The firmware for ECODRIVE03 drives is not shipped with the drive and has to be ordered as a separate subposition. ECODRIVE03 drives are available in three output current ratings which are 40 Amps, 100 Amps and 200 Amps. The drive input voltage range is from 200 to 480 Volts AC.
ECODRIVE03 drives support both single-phase and three-phase input. The range of input frequencies supported by the drives is 50 to 60 Hertz. The maximum output voltage of the drives is 800 Volts. The number of phases output by the drives are three. The maximum output frequency for the drives is 1000 Hertz. ECODRIVE03 drives also require an external 24 Volts supply for the control electronics. The maximum power consumption for the control electronics varies from 21 Watts on the 40 Amps rated drive to 29 Watts on the 200 Amps rated drive. Short circuit current rating for the drives is 42000 Amps. Rated maximum ambient temperature with nominal data for the drives is 45 degrees Celsius. A minimum spacing of 150 millimeters is recommended above the drive. Additionally a minimum spacing of 80 millimeters is also recommended below the drive. These recommendations are made to ensure smooth air flow which is required for cooling of the drive. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
