The Bosch FWA-ECODR3-FLP-02VRS-MS is one of the available firmware for the Rexroth EcoDrive 03 drive controllers which are part of DKC product line. The FWA-ECODR3-FLP-02VRS-MS is compatible with DCK03.3 and DKC21.3 series drive controllers. The firmware is compatible with 40 Amps and 100 Amps rated DKC03.3 controllers and with 200 Amps rated DCK21.3 series controllers. DKC controllers should only be installed after the accompanying documentation is read completely. Safety instructions highlighted in the documentation must be followed to prevent equipment damage and injury. Personnel with relevant training and experience should be involved in installation and subsequent maintenance of the controllers. Only spare parts and accessories which are approved by Bosch should be used with the controllers. Faulty controllers should not be put into operation.
Optimal operation of the controllers with FWA-ECODR3-FLP-02VRS-MS firmware requires storage, transportation and operation according to manufacturer guidelines. Improper use of DKC series controller can result in damage, injury, electric shock and even death. Operating temperature range of DKC controller is up to 45 degrees Celsius. The maximum allowed ambient temperature with reduced nominal data is 55 degrees Celsius. A minimum distance of 150 millimeters is recommended at the top side of the device to allow air circulation required for cooling. Similarly a minimum distance of 80 millimeters is recommended at the bottom side of the device. ESD precautions should be taken to ensure that the controller and its components are not damaged. These include working in static-free areas, use of appropriate grounded wrist straps while working and use of static free containers for storing components. Touch guards should be used for the controller to prevent live shock which can occur due to contact with live parts carrying more than 50 Volts.
