Product Description
As one of the leading manufacturers of servo motors, the Rexroth Indramat group is always updating their technology and manufacturing to meet the complexity in industrial applications of their products. The DKC series of servo-drive controllers is one of the solutions designed to improve the performance range and versatility of Rexroth servo motors. These servo drives are usually an integral part of a larger sub-system called the ECODRIVE series, with the DKC22.3-200-7-FW (a part of the latest DKC series) included in the ECODRIVE03 system.
The DKC22.3-200-7-FW is an important component within the ECODRIVE03 and is usually integrated with an auxiliary bleeder or capacitance module. This servo drive is a 3rd version instalment in the series 22 DKC drives, and it comes with SERCOS connectivity (SERCOS interface II). This makes the DKC22.3-200-7-FW suitable for high speed/real-time operations that require the fast data transfer option offered by SERCOS fibre optic technology. It also features the RS232/RS485 interface for allowing programming, parameterization, PC-based visualization and diagnostics; it also has an analog interface.
The type current for this servo drive is set at 200A, and this is indicated in its type code. Based on this current limit, this drive can be used for driving large servo motors with high current ratings. It should be noted that 200A is a peak current output, which is expected for short bursts of operation. For continuous operation, this servo drive is rated for current delivery depending on its adopted switching frequency. At 4kHz, it can deliver continuous current at either 85A or 100A. This ensures a proper heating and cooling policy for the connected servo motor during normal operations. The second selectable frequency is 8kHz, at which this drive delivers continuous currents at either 48A or 68A. This product is available from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
