Product Description
The DKC22.3-100-7-FW is a servo drive controller, which is manufactured by the Rexroth Bosch Indramat company. Based on its type-code, it belongs to the most recent series of the DKC drives: the series 22. This series of DKC drives come with SERCOS connectivity (SERCOS interface 2), which is very fast and efficient for real-time operations and faster data transfer. It also has an analog interface and RS232 / RS485 interface. Classed in the IP20 protection category, this drive is not suited for operation around liquids.
This servo-drive has a peak current rating of 100A. This is indicated within its type code, and it also informs of a powerful drive. While the production of this type of current is only required for intermittent durations, it provides the option for overclocking a connected motor’s speed or torque to deliver the required rotation at the right period. Depending on the capacity of the motor connected, this servo-drive comes with options for adjusting the maximum current output.
This is done via its switchable frequency options between 4kHz or 8kHz. At the 4kHz option, the possible peak current is 40A with continuous currents between 32A and 40A. With the 8kHz, however, the current outputs can be further reduced. The peak current at 8kHz is 32A, with continuous current between 21A and 32A. Along with the frequency adjustment option, this servo-drive also includes protection for overcurrent and over-heating for its connected motor. This ensures that every connected motor is operable according to recommended specifications without sacrificing lifespan. This servo-drive requires either a single phase or three-phase AC mains connection, with an input voltage requirement between 200v and 480v. The input frequency is also required at either 50Hz or 60Hz. This product is available from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
