Product Description
With the integration of SERCOS connectivity, which is a recent high-rate transfer protocol with support for real-time multi-tasking, this series of DKC drives are well-suited for faster operations.
Normally integrated within an ECODRIVE03 system, the DKC22.3-016-7-FW is a version 3 type of DKC drive and part of the series 22. This is indicated by the ’22.3’ part of its type-code, which specifies the attribute of a typical Rexroth product. Also based on the type-code information, this servo drive is rated for a maximum current of 16A. The ‘7’ in its code indicates its voltage category number, and the ‘FW’ means that it requires a separately ordered firmware module for its operation. As part of the general DKC controller attribute, this servo drive also features two ports for supporting encoder connection.
It supports the following encoder types, depending on the type of motor connected: for the first encoder port ‘x4’, it can accept a single-turn or multi-turn DSF/HSF encoder, a resolver with or without FDS (feedback data storage); for its second port ‘x8’, it can accept a sine encoder, EnDat absolute encoder, gear-type encoder with 1Vss signals, and a square-wave encoder with 5V TTL signals. With the right combination of these encoders, a high level of precision can be achieved with the servo-motor control. For electrical connection, this servo-drive can be powered via a single source, group source without DC bus connection, or a central supply. For any of the sources, the mains is meant to be configured for either a single-phase or 3-phase AC supply. This product is available from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
