The DDS03.2-W050-B features a modular concept and comes configured in terms of the desired function. It is made up of hardware and firmware. Its basic concept consists of the firmware, software modules, plugin modules, and the basic drive controller. Thanks to its flexibility, you can combine it with AC servo and main drives to create a compact drive package that uses one supply unit. It can be connected to all Indramat supply units with a regulated voltage of DC 24V. TVM 2.1, TVM 2.4, and KDV 1.3 supply units can be used.
The DDS03.2-W050-B, in conjunction with LSF, 2AD, ADF, LAR, and LAF AC motors, becomes a high response drive making it particularly ideal for handling machines, robotics, packaging machines, and textile application. This Rexroth Indramat controller comprises a rated current of 50A, a digital servo motor feedback, and an internal air cooling method. It dissipates heat within the control cabinet requiring air conditioning and a larger cabinet. Adequate spacing between the drives should be observed for optimum airflow. Ensure that the drive with the highest output is installed as close as possible to the supply unit. The DDS03.2-W050-B should be mounted in a terminal box that meets the demands of the IP 10 protection category.
The DDS03.2-W050-B is intended to be put into operating under ambient conditions. They include a permissible relative humidity of 95%, an operating temperature of 0 to 45 degrees, and a storage temperature of -30 to 85 degrees. It features a protection class of IP 20 and the maximum installation altitude is 1000 meters. It has a maximum peak current of 50A and a continuous current of 20A. for peace of mind, it comes with a one-year warranty.
