DDS03.1-W30-R is a Bosch Rexroth DDS series digital motor controller. It is specifically designed for use with linear motors from the LAR and LAF series and rotary motors from the MDD and MKD series. The controller has an IP20 rated housing. It is suited to air cooling. A cold air inlet is located at the bottom of the unit. A hot air outlet is located at the top of the unit. Bosch recommends 80 millimeter spacing on the top and bottom to prevent blockage of these inlets. Bosch also recommends 40 millimeter spacing on the front side of the mounted unit. These spacings facilitate smooth airflow around the unit, which is required for heat dissipation. Proper spacing will help ensure that the ambient temperature remains with 0 and 45 degrees Celsius.
