Product Description
Bosch Rexroth manufactures drive and automation systems that are widely used in the global drive and motion industry. The DDS drive system is one of these, and it is used in various industrial applications for factory automation. The DDS drive system has a modular design and several components, including the DDS drive controller. This drive controller can be combined with AC servo motors from Bosch Rexroth like the MDD, MKD, and LAR motor series to create rapid-response drives. The drives are used in machine tools, textile machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, and handling machines.
The DDS03.1-W050-RA01-02-FW is a drive controller in Series 3 of the DDS drive controller group. It is compact and is designed to be mounted into a closed housing with its supply unit. Its cooling is via heat technology, and this method requires the least installation effort. In this cooling method, heat is expelled within the control cabinet. The drive controller functions with the Resolver Feedback and can only be connected to motors that use this option.
An ANALOG interface is the plug-in module of the DDS03.1-W050-RA01-02-FW, allowing it to operate digital intelligent AC servo drives with conventional controls. Its maximum peak current is 50A, and it uses a DC bus voltage of 300V with an allowance of ±15%. It functions with all Indramat supply units with a regulated DC 24V voltage. This DDS model does not admit solid extrinsic objects with a diameter of 12mm or more due to its Ingress Protection Rating of IP 20. The protection rating of its control cabinet is IP 10, which indicates that it is protected against solid extrinsic objects with a diameter over 50 mm.
