Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is adept at simplifying motion control for a wide range of applications by the creation of highly functional products. One of these is the DDS drive controller, which forms a rapid-response drive when it is combined with digital AC servo motors, also by Bosch Rexroth.
The DDS03.1-W030-RA02-00 is a drive controller model of the DDS series by Bosch Rexroth. It has a modular design and supports all supply units from Indramat with a DC 24V regulated voltage. Thanks to its compact size, it can easily be mounted in a control cabinet with its supply unit, ensuring efficient space conservation. This control cabinet belongs to the protection category IP 10 according to EN 60529, indicating that solid external materials over 50mm cannot penetrate. Cooling in this drive controller is achieved through heat technology, where the cooling airflow is within this control cabinet. As a result, it must be large, and air conditioning should be used.
An ANALOG interface is the plug-in module of the DDS03.1-W030-RA02-00. It allows the drive controller to be used to operate digital AC servo drives with conventional controls. The module also offers control inputs and signal outputs for it to interact with other control units. Only servo motors with Resolver Feedback are compatible with this motor, and they are connected using a ready-made Indramat cable of 75m maximum length. The cable contains three lines for the motor-power connection, one line for the protective conductor connection, and a separately shielded pair for monitoring the motor’s temperature. A designated DC voltage of 300V with a ±15% tolerance is required for the operation of this DDS model, and it has a rated current of 30A.
