Product Description
Bosch Rexroth manufactures highly functional digital drive controllers like those in the DDS series. These devices have a modular build and are components of the DDS drive system. They form rapid-response systems when they are combined with digital AC servo motors, including those in the MDD, MKD, LAF, and LAR series.
The DDS03.1-W030-RA01-02-FW is a drive controller designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is built for motion control in motors with Resolver Feedback and has an ANALOG interface for communication. This ANALOG interface allows the operation of intelligent digital AC servo drives with conventional controls and contains control inputs and signal outputs used to communicate with control units. Cooling is achieved via heat technology in this Version 1 DDS drive controller. Heat technology allows the dissipation of heat generated during the device’s operation within its control cabinet. This is why a large control cabinet with air conditioning is required; however, it requires minimal installation effort.
All Indramat supply units with a regulated DC 24V voltage can be connected to the DDS03.1-W030-RA01-02-FW. Its supply unit is mounted with it in a control cabinet whose Ingress Protection rating is IP 10 according to DIN 40 050. This means that solid extrinsic objects with a diameter of 50mm or more will not penetrate the housing. The drive controller’s rated current is 30A, and its designated DC bus voltage is 300V with an allowance of ±15%. For its connection to its servo motor feedback, the ideal cable is an Indramat feedback cable with a maximum length of 75m. It is designed for operation at an ambient temperature between 0oC and 45oC and installation at a maximum height of 1000m.
