Product Description
When Bosch Rexroth’s digital AC servo motors are combined with its state-of-the-art drive controllers, the result is rapid-response drives. The drive controllers of the DDS series are devices by the manufacturer with a modular construction that makes them ideal for several applications. Drives with the DDS drive controllers are used in printing and packaging machines, robotics, and handling machines.
The DDS02.2-W200-BE77-00-FW is a DDS drive controller model in the DDS drive system designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Its plug-in module is a SERCOS interface that enables it to be used to operate digital drives with SERCOS-compatible controls. It uses a fiber optic cable for its connection to these drives, ensuring that information is shared swiftly. The SERCOS module also supplies inputs used to process reference switches, travel range limit switches, and sensor inputs. This DDS drive controller’s cooling is via heat technology where the cooling airflow is within the control cabinet housing it. Hence, large control cabinets with air conditioning are required.
All Indramat supply units with a 24V DC regulated voltage can be connected to the DDS02.2-W200-BE77-00-FW. Its supply unit can also be mounted in its control cabinet, allowing efficient space management. The drive controller also supports AC motors that use digital servo feedback or resolver feedback as their encoder systems. To operate this DDS model, a designated DC bus voltage of 300V with an allowance of ±15% is required. Its current rating is 200A, and it supports the use of a motor power cable from Indramat for its connection to the motors. The maximum length of this cable is 75m. Also, it requires a maximum ambient temperature of 45oC.
