Product Description
Bosch Rexroth has a long-standing reputation for manufacturing innovative solutions in the drive and motion industry. The DDS drive controllers from the company are modular in design and can be tailored for specific drive tasks. They can be easily combined with AC servo and main drives to form a compact drive package that uses a single supply unit. These drive controllers have a wide range of applications, including machine tools, textile machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, and handling machines.
The DDS02.2-W200-BE56-01-FW is combined with the MDD, MKD, and LAR AC motor to create rapid-response drives. It operates with firmware that fixes the functional features of the drive controller. The electrical circuits of the drive are classified as safely isolated electrical circuits. This DDS drive controller model communicates with other control units via the SERCOS plugin module, which functions via fiber optic cables. The plug-in module also offers inputs for assessing reference switches, the maximum travel range switches, and sensor inputs.
The maximum peak current of the DDS02.2-W200-BE56-01-FW is 200A, and it requires a DC bus voltage of 300V with +/-15% tolerance. It cools via heat technology, a cooling method where heat is dissipated within the control cabinet. This cooling method also requires the least amount of mounting and installation effort. The drive controller and its supply unit are designed for mounting into a closed housing and meet the demands of protection category IP 10, as per DIN 40 050. With this protection category, the unit is protected against the penetration of solid extrinsic objects greater than 50mm in diameter. However, it is not protected against water penetration and intentional access by a hand.
