The DDS02.2-W200-BE24-01 is a DDS series digital drive controller. It is developed by Bosch Rexroth. The controller is deployed with a compatible motor for industrial or commercial applications. DDS controllers are compatible with a wide range of Bosch motors including 1MB inductance motors, ADF inductance motors, LSF linear synchronous motors and MSK synchronous motors. A single power supply can power multiple DDS drive controllers. Typical applications for servo systems comprised of DDS controllers include textiles, robotics and printing machines. Use of the DDS02.2-W200-BE24-01 for non-specified applications is considered improper use. Such use leads to voiding of the product warranty. The DDS02.2-W200-BE24-01 delivers 200 Amps rated output under specified ambient conditions. The ambient conditions specified by Bosch include 0 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature, 0 to 1000 meters altitude, and maximum 95% relative humidity.
The DDS02.2-W200-BE24-01 controller is designed for heat technology and dissipates heat inside the control cabinet. To ensure proper air flow and ventilation, Bosch has specified the following minimum spacing requirements: 40 millimeters on front side, 80 millimeters on the top side and 80 millimeters on the bottom side of the mounted controller. The DDS02.2-W200-BE24-01 is designed for vertical mounting. Even though it is designed for convection cooling, other cooling methods such are forced air cooing or air conditioning may be used if required. The controller support two motor feedback methods: resolver feedback and digital servo feedback. The communication module installed on the DDS02.2-W200-BE24-01 supports SERCOS. The controller is designed to operate at 24 Volts DC input. Bosch only allows use of power supplies that deliver regulated DC output. Qualified and trained personnel with relevant experience should be involved in installation and handling of the DDS02.2-W200-BE24-01.
