The DDS02.2-W100-BE95-02-FW is a DDS drive controller model designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a modular Version 1 model with a compact size that supports its installation within a control cabinet. This control cabinet has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 10, indicating that solid extrinsic objects with a diameter over 50mm cannot penetrate it. It should also be large enough to support the cooling mode of the drive controller, which is heat technology. In this cooling option, heat is dissipated within the control cabinet, and air conditioning may also be required.
A current rating of 100A is needed for the operation of the DDS02.2-W100-BE95-02-FW. Its DC bus voltage rating is also 300V with an allowance of ±15%. This drive controller is compatible with all Indramat supply units with a regulated DC 24V voltage. It can be mounted into its control cabinet with the supply unit. A SERCOS plug-in module is present here for the interaction of the drive controller with other control units. It uses a fiber optics cable for this connection, ensuring that information can be safely exchanged between the units. In addition, the SERCOS module provides inputs for the evaluation of sensor inputs, travel range limit switches, and reference switches.
