These include servo motors in the MDD, 1MB, LSF, 2AD, and ADF series. The drive controllers are components of the modular DDS drive system and are used in multiple applications such as textile machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, and handling machines.
The DDS02.2-W100-BE92-01-FW is a drive controller in Bosch Rexroth’s DDS series. It is a Version 1 type that uses a SERCOS plug-in module to communicate with other control units. The SERCOS plug-in module offers inputs for evaluating travel range limit switches, sensor inputs, and reference switches. It also uses a fiber optics cable to operate digital drives with SERCOS-compatible controls. Hence, fast and secure information transfer can be achieved. Like other DDS drive controllers, this model can be connected to all Indramat supply units with a regulated voltage of 24V DC. Its current rating is 100A, while its designated DC bus voltage value is 300V with a tolerance of ±15%.
Because of its compact build, the DDS02.2-W100-BE92-01-FW can be mounted in a control with its compatible supply unit. The Ingress Protection rating of the control cabinet is IP 10 per DIN 40 050, indicating that solid extrinsic objects over 50mm cannot penetrate it. This DDS drive controller is cooled via heat technology where the heat is eliminated within the control cabinet. It can be used with motors that have either digital servo feedback or resolver feedback for position detection and speed control. It also supports the use of firmware, but this must be ordered as a separate sub-item.
