Product Description
Drive systems by Bosch Rexroth, such as the DDS drive system, are composed of various high-performance components. One of the components of the DDS system is the DDS drive controller, which can be connected to the manufacturer’s AC motors. They include the MDD, LAR, LAF, LSF, and 2AD motors. Combined with these motors, it functions as a rapid-response drive with a wide range of applications.
The DDS02.2-W100-BE84-01-FW is a drive controller model of the DDS family designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is compatible with motors where speed control and position detection are achieved through digital servo feedback or resolver feedback. It also features a SERCOS plug-in module for its communication with high-level control units. The plug-in module uses a fiber optic cable for the operation of digital drives whose controls are SERCOS-compatible. Hence, the rapid and secure exchange of information is guaranteed. This SERCOS plug-in module also provides inputs that play a significant role in the evaluation of sensor inputs, travel range limit switches, and reference switches
A DC bus voltage of 300V with an allowance of ±15% is required to operate the DDS02.2-W100-BE84-01-FW. Its current rating is 100A, and it can be connected to any Indramat supply unit with a regulated voltage of DC 24V. The drive controller uses heat technology for the elimination of heat. In this cooling system, heat is eliminated within the control cabinet in which the device is mounted; hence, a large control cabinet with air conditioning is required. It also requires minimal installation effort and optimizes the drive controller’s compact build for space conservation. The ideal ambient temperature for this device’s operation is between 0oC and 45oC.
